What's Cookin' Wednesday ~ Ummm ... Cheesy Bread

I know.  It's not Wednesday.  I, however, made the Cheesy Bread yesterday.  That counts in my book as 'What's Cookin' Wednesday.

I have finally figured out the secret ingredient that makes cheesy bread so yummy and gooey.  All these years I have repeatedly tossed some grated cheese on a hunk of bread, popped it into the oven and then was bitterly, horribly and sadly disappointed in the results.

Deciding to use this wonderful tool called the internet, I googled 'cheesy bread' and found what I had been looking for all these many years.

My life is now complete.

Good Things

Losing all my papers and such last week has forced to me address all the apps that I have scattered over too many electronic devices.

My mind is tired of sorting through way too many games, far too many ways to play with pictures, and so many to-do and calendar apps to organize my life that I usually just go back to doing it the old fashioned way and just grab a notepad and a pen.

In light of my brain being close to shutting down, I am now declaring today 'Good Things Monday'.

Grown up mascara.  Maybelline Great Lash mascara served its purpose for a long time, but it is now time for me to move on.

They Were Just Words

Bonnie's Jam With Me Thursdays on her Faith Barista blog is a decent challenge for me.

It isn't easy for me to type out loud the words that I have in my heart about the faith-based subjects that she comes up with each week.

I also don't want to deal with 'having to'.  I sometimes turn her suggestions into an assignment that weighs heavy on my heart as a 'have to'.   Funny though, I have found that the words come to my mind and then through to my fingers when they need to.

Bonnie allows a week for blogs to be posted.  On top of that, she always gives a heads-up a full week in advance as to what the following week's subject is going to be.

Roughly two weeks to complete a blog.

Oh, the pressure.  It is more than I can stand.

Fair Enough

It's fair time!

Last week, Randy, Roxy and I piled in the truck and headed to the Baxter County Fair.  No, we didn't take Roxy to the fair.  Dogs are not allowed at the fair!  I shudder to think about taking Roxy the Dog into the animal buildings.  It was cool enough out and she is just fine in the truck.  We didn't spend more than an hour at the fair, and that included visiting with friends that we happened across.

To make a day of it, we decided to head to Flippin for lunch at Sodie's Fountain and Grill.

I Have A Friend

I have a friend
A very dear friend
A true gift from God
Just for me

She has known me since I was really little
Yes, I was little, once
She has always seen the potential in me
She has always encouraged me
